School and Group Artist Talks with Julie Fragar

Schools and groups are invited to book a free 15-minute artist talk with Julie Fragar during her two-week residency at RMOA in February 2024. 

These free artist talks can be scheduled between 9.00am - 4.00pm, Monday 5 February - Friday 16 February (subject to artist availability) by submitting a school and group booking request form. 

Learn more about the artworks within Julie Fragar: Biograph and the themes underpinning them including biography, memory, identity and narrative. One of the most acclaimed painters in Australia today, this major retrospective maps more than twenty years of Fragar's artistic practice. Fragar is featured in Creative Inquiry: Visual Art for Queensland Senior Secondary Students as a case study within Unit 4: Art as Alternate.

A learning resource for this exhibition is available for educators to download and print for their students. Limited hard copies are available at RMOA Front of House for educators to collect - please email RMOAlearning@rrc.qld.gov.au for more information.
