About your Arty Party Artist Educator:

Our Arty Party Artist Educators are all experienced in delivering quality programs for children at Rockhampton Museum of Art. Depending on availability, the Artist Educator for each Arty Party may differ.

Kaitlyn Sorensen is a creative person who loves sharing her outgoing energy! After graduating with a Bachelor in Graphic Design Kaitlyn has recently invested her time as owner and operator of “CQ Party Princess”, this business allows her creative expression and costuming skills to shine all in the company of amazing young people.

Helen Kavanagh is a Central Queensland artist and a fun, bubbly educator. She is passionate about the environment. Her artistic pursuits are drawing, painting, photography and sculpting objects from recycled materials. Helen has a Diploma of Visual Arts from CQ University, and has experience teaching workshops across the region.

Teagan Sinnott is a mum of three and head of Maggie Moo Music Rockhampton team, and is never afraid to get a little messy when being creative with children. Teagan values the time and memories made while creating with her own family and this inspires her work with young people now. Since 2019, Teagan has been coordinating 'moosical' and sensory sessions for little ones across the region. Teagan is confident to lead carers through Messy Arty Parties at RMOA – first time messy makers always welcome! Teagan absolutely adores sharing her love of sensory exploration with families and thrives on adding that little bit extra to the program.
