Schools and groups are invited to book a free 15-minute artist talk with Alfredo and Isabel Aquilizan during their two-week residency at RMOA in February 2024. Talks can be scheduled between 9.00am - 4.00pm, Monday 5 February - Saturday 10 February (subject to artist availability) by submitting a school and group booking request form.
The Aquilizans will be creating artwork for MAXIMUM MADNESS: Art Inspired by Mad Max and developing an activity space related to their work in the exhibition. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from renowned artists who have worked with significant institutions both nationally and internationally. The Aquilizans are featured in Creative Inquiry: Visual Art for Queensland Senior Secondary Students as a case study within Unit 2: Art as Code.
