Good as Gold is an expansive selection of paintings from artists featured throughout the Gold Award’s first decade-plus. Featuring an assortment of winning, donated and purchased works from the RMOA Collection, the exhibition brings together many works that have never been seen together before, or indeed even in the context of the Gold, offering a surprise selection of deep cuts and greatest hits from the popular and much-anticipated biennial prize, as well as non-Gold works from Gold artists. Named for benefactor Moya Gold, the exhibition is a celebration of the rich culture of giving and philanthropy in Rockhampton.
