Join us to celebrate the launch and official opening of Rockhampton Museum of Art’s latest major exhibition, Smash Up: Comics x Art.
Curated by Jonathan McBurnie, Smash Up brings together art inspired by comics, alternative and popular culture, presented side by side with original pieces from artists and cartoonists, focusing on those whose works push the boundaries of media and subvert the expectations we have of what does and doesn't constitute a work of art.
Celebrate the official opening and enjoy first access to the exhibition, light canapé menu and entertainment with drinks available for purchase. Please note, due to the nature of the event, dietary requirements cannot be catered for however some GF options will be available.
