About Shaun Fogarty
Shaun is a Saxophonist, Improviser and Composer based in Emu Park, on Darumbal Country. Shaun Studied Classical Saxophone at Melbourne University (2013) which led to chamber performances throughout Europe, UK and Australia. His current practice draws attention to the interaction of sound and its environmental factors through means of composed and improvised music, with a focus on how sound is perceived in and out of space and the subjectivity of "good" and "bad" sounds.
Shaun has collaborated with local artists in order to realise the sonic worlds we each exist in and the benefits that come with conscious and active listening.
