Sitting on the threshold of the Fitzroy River (Tunuba), Rockhampton Museum of Art is regional Queensland’s largest and most exciting art space. With multiple exhibition spaces there will be something for all visitors.
Rockhampton Museum of Art welcomes all visitors and is committed to making its programs and services accessible to everyone.
You can access Rockhampton Museum of Art via Quay Street entrance or via East Street Links. All public areas of the Museum, including the shop and Hummingbird Cafe, are accessible via street access and ramps.
Wheelchairs can be borrowed from the reception desk at the Quay Street entrance. Please reserve a wheelchair ahead of your visit to the museum on 07 4936 8248.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you when you visit. To ensure the safety of our works, large bags will be required to be stored with Reception in our complimentary cloak room prior to entering the museum and exhibition spaces. Items where any one side is longer than 40cm, such as bags, backpacks, umbrellas, baby backpack carries, tripods and monopods are not permitted in the museum. Complimentary storage of these items is available upon entry. Please note, it is at Rockhampton Museum of Art's discretion to request a bag or item be stored during your visit.
