A dedicated low sensory experience across RMOA building, designed to help make visiting the Gallery accessible and inclusive for all.

Quiet Space includes:

• Reduced noise, no music is played
• Some films are turned off
• Subtitles in use for films
• Dimmed lighting by 25-35%
• No PA (Public Address) announcements
• Quiet Space signage
• Full access to large lift

 

Phone Photography Basics 11am - 12pm

FREE | Limited tickets, bookings required

Bring your own device (phone/camera/tablet)

Come along to learn the basics of photography on your own phone, camera or tablet device. Join Jayne Cho as she guides the class through some basic steps to improving your photography skills.

Access notes:

• Program rooms are set spaciously to allow wheelchair and walking aid access
• Microphones in use for hearing loop access
• Large lift open and accessible
• Large entry way open for program room access

 

Accessible Tour 2pm - 2.40pm

FREE | No Booking Required

Join us for a tour of the Gallery spaces with RMOA curator, Emily Wakeling. This is an opportunity to not only learn about artworks, but also HOW to look at artworks.

Access notes:

• Microphones in use for hearing loop access
• Large lift open and accessible
• Tour will allow for conversation and questions throughout.
